Meeting dedicated to outdoor sports

During the third weekend of May 2008 the Garda Trentino will host the first ever Italian meeting dedicated entirely to outdoor sports. Much more than just a trade fair, this event will be a giant open-air gym where champions and enthusiasts from all over Europe will be able to test products, practice their sports and compete together.
Outdoor Days is a unique occasion for companies to meet enthusiasts, experts and beginners, professional operators, dealers and the media.
During the Outdoor Days companies will not only present their products to the public, but also allow enthusiasts to test everything they need to organise their free-time outdoors: gear, clothing, footwear, hi-tech, press, maps, nutrition, tourist offers for sports holidays.
 
Activities: Hiking, Bike, Mountain bike, Nordic walking, Mountaineering, Climbing, Running, Rollerblade, Canyoning, Rafting, Canoeing, Horse riding, Paragliding, Windsurfing… and all outdoor sports.
 
Experiences and Test Areas: guided outdoor sports through the Garda Trentino: a giant open-air gym where in the space of just a coupe of kilometres it is possible to carry out all outdoor sports. You will be accompanied by the Trentino Mountain Guides, by the GardaOnBike guides and the Canottieri Riva canoeing instructors. To participate in the guided activities you must pay a registration fee which varies on the basis of the individual activity. 
 
Events: the three days will be marked by intense competitions. But three great events will catch the attention of the athletes and the public:
 • Outdoordays Skytriathlon – from Lake Garda to the summit of Monte Altissimo.
 From the shore of Lake Garda to the alpine meadows on Monte Altissimo: swimming, mountain biking and running, 2000m height gain through an incredible variety of natural landscapes on offer in Garda Trentino. Athletes can compete both alone or in teams.
 • Outdoordays Ronda Run - race from the Lake Garda blue to the Sarca mountain green
 Circular race around the Garda Trentino basin. Two race courses on offer: 13.5 km and 28.6 km. Those who want to follow in the footsteps of the champions can participate in the non-competitive Eco Walk to Arco.
 • Outdoordays Ronda Bike - mountain bike across the fantastic natural environment, from Lake Garda to its mountains. 40 km mountain bike race around the Garda Trentino basin. Those who want to follow in the footsteps of the champions can participate in the non-competitive Eco Ride along the same route to Arco.
