Sigurtà Park
A spectacular oasis of green
Parco Giardino Sigurtà is even considered to be among the five most extraordinary gardens in the world.
This ecological oasis (50 hectares) is one of the best in the world and is situated in Valeggio sul Mincio, 8 Km from the Lake Garda. It was created by the Earl Carlo Sigurtà, who drew water from the River Mincio and created an idyllic place of luxuriant nature, which was opened in 1978. The guests can walk through the woods, on the fields or through the alleys full of different flowers (iris, tulips, water-lilies, brooms, fern, rosemary, oaks, secular trees, roses, pines...). You can visit the park on foot or take the non-stopping road train. You can hire bicycles, with children’s bikes also available, or you can drive a golf car.
