Bird watching

The mountains surrounding Lake Garda offer interesting opportunities to people fond of bird-watching, photo-hunting and nature in general.

In some areas of the Brescian Upper Garda Park, on the western coast of Lake Garda, the Foresters have built special platforms for bird-watching. Other spots are the territory surrounding Tremosine up to Nota Pass and Mount Tremalzo, and the naturalistic park of Rocca di Manerba.
On the Eastern coast of Lake Garda Mount Baldo offers many opportunities, such as in the territory among Selva Pezzi, Monte delle Erbe and the Costabella area: here you can watch golden eagles, buzzards, Alpine finches and different kinds of diurnal and nocturnal birds of pray.
