Already since Roman times Sirmione has been a wll-known health resort. Nowadays Terme di Sirmione is one of the most important thermal facilities in Europe.

Located just outside of the center of Sirmione, you'll find a thermal spa with beautiful gardens extending to the lake. The thermal springs are replenished from the sorgente Boiola, where the temperature of the water can reach 69°C. Already since Roman times Sirmione has been a wll-known health resort.

Terme di Sirmione is one of the most important thermal facilities in Europe and has two ultra-modern centres: Terme Catullo, located in the historical centre of Sirmione, and Terme Virgilio, located at the foot of the Sirmione peninsula, at Colombare. The thermal centre Aquaria is in the historical centre too. Various affections can be treated by the spa waters of Sirmione: bronchial tubes, ears, nose, throat, skin and locomotive apparatus.
