Gardaland: the biggest amusement park in Italy! A combination of adventure, dream and strong emotions in a wonderful fantasy world.

It is the biggest amusement park in Italy, and it is located in the southern part of the Lake. Among the 30 attractions we mention: The myth of Atlantis, Blue Tornado, the Medieval Tournament, The Castle of Merlin, Ikarus, Jungle Rapids, The Kings' Valley, Pirates, The Village of the Elves, Rio Bravo...  Every year, Gardaland offers new surprises. The parks also gives the opportunity to relax among rare and big trees, like the Metasequoia Glyptostroboides (a huge sequoia), the Washington Robusta, from California, the Tulip-Tree, the flowers and the sculpture-hedges.

The park offers a very good service: you will find bars, ice-cream shops, shops, 5 restaurants, where you have fun even when you are eating. There are free prams for children, you can rent cameras; for the baby-care, you will find everything you need in the toilets and in the restaurants; in the little church of the western village, it is possible to celebrate Masses.

Gardaland is situated in Ronchi, Castelnuovo del Garda, just 15 km from Verona and 2 km from the train station of Peschiera del Garda, from where a free shuttle is available. The main entrance is situated on the road "Gardesana Orientale" (SS 249) between Peschiera and Lazise. Before departure, you can call 045 6449777 to have info about the weather or something else. A wide parking area is available.

 

Opening hours 2008

Gardaland is open every day from 19 March to 19 June h. 9.30 am > 6.30 pm. From  20 June to 9 September h. 10.00 am > 12.00 pm. From 10 to 30 September h. 10.00 am > 6.00 pm. "Special Halloween" in the weekends of October.
